Smile Ride

Big eyes and a slow, sad, smile

You made my heart beat with a thousand words a mile

Hanging on your lips like a long car ride

I read the scars you never tried to hide

Strumming my worries like voices without feeling

Your tongue soothed in braille and I knew the meaning
