This is for every kid, teenager, and even adult that ever felt like they were nothing or weren't good enough
To the quiet kid in the back of the classroom, you are
The flower that bloomed in a dark room
The beautiful butterfly that finally emerged from the cocoon
The black sheep running with a pack of wolves
The rainbow after a rain shower
The raindrops that fall even when the sun is out
Just beautiful, unique and different
You are special in every way
So smile
Smile like its graduation day
Smile like a little kid in a candy store
Smile as if it's your wedding day
Smile as if your crush kissed you for the first time
Smile because you mean more than you think
Smile because life is beautiful
The way the flowers bloom and just are proud of their beauty
The trees standing tall like heavenly giants
Just Earth itself
This beautiful, complex marble
And even though there is rain and cloudy days
The sun always comes back out to shine
That is reminder enough that life is awesome
This Earth is awesome
We are all awesome
So to that kid with the glasses, who is having a hard time making friends
Just smile because you are amazing
And I know that someone will see that fire inside you
