"Sleeping Beauty No More"

Once upon a time there lived a belle.

Who could not withstand living in a world which seemed as a forbidden hell;

So she wept and slept the suffering away--

Her name was sleeping beauty.

She dreamed of world overflowing with vibrant liveliness.

She dreamed of a world in which she could discovery endless blissfulness.

She dreamed of world filled with no war or hunger.

She dreamed of utopia throughout the cool of the summer--

Her name was sleeping beauty.

The moment came where she had these dreams no more,

And her heart became shallow and sore.

The colorful memories faded away,

Like the autumn leaves on a windy day.

She garnered her strength to fight the nefarious forces

With true intent of dreaming each day.

As she saw the grief and evils of mankind,

She gained the strength to fight the metaphysical fight.

She rose above their lowliness.

She became a vessel of prowess.

As life got worse,

She maintained in her heart a hope for change,

The boundless opportunities hers to claim.

Never again falling in the bottomless abyss of sleep or despair,

She became woke beauty.
