The Sleep of Winter

Location

The sleep of winter roams deep unpunished,

Calm, subtle, just.

A generous wind, carries Autumn's rubbish;

Leaves, weathered to crust.

Rain's kiss is as cold as ice.

A warning of what's yet to come

But for now, theres not a blizzard in sight

Just the sleep, that regards none.
