Behind the Curtain,

lies a man with a plan.

To get into college,

and to be successful.

 

But to be successful,

he’s got to pass the social test.

He has to hangout with his friends,

he has to socialize.

 

And if he wants to work instead,

he gets called names.

“Don’t be a pussy, faggot, bitch”

So he stays behind the curtain.

 

He tells his friends he can’t hang.

They ask, “Why?”

He tells them he has family in town,

but really he’s working.

 

Social Pressure put me behind the curtain,

and I just want to step out.
