Skinny

Dear irrational insecurities,

Only a parasite that thrives, a ghost

Unbelieving of complements and praise

ashamed of proportions due to the host

That haunts in lonely thoughts throughout the days.

Self love and reassurance is the cure

coffee, warm, inviting, no bitterness

I may feel ugly but remain kind; heart pure

I won’t let you control my happiness.

Muscular is not obese, Faded scars

I found myself you have no voice

My freckles still shine like the stars

Self love, free of care I’ve made my choice.

glowing, bright Light and new, soft, fallen Snow.

I love me,These seeds will grow how i sow.
