Silent Outburst

I try and I try,

I push myself with all my might

Yet I can not stop the annoyance in me grow

Every time my teachers says "Go!"

"You have another essay!"

My stoic face shows no hint of my emotions

The quiet anger I have inside is connected

With an array of responses

Yet I only stay with my stoic face

A silent war inside of me

A chaotic outburst

Contained in my own self.

A faint smile on my lips, A fake one at best

They are deceived, no one will know

Not until I'm dust

Of my silent outburst
