Shedding and Lending Light in Death

The one job to change my life has little to do with mine:
it reaches beyond the veil of mortality B
to transcend the silence applied with death and time,
to give the gift of voice during grief and fatality
after the escape of man to rise and make the climb.

A calling to shed compassion in a pocket of grim reality,
to lift the blinds for sake of truth and lend light to the bereft.
