She had colored contacts
Once knew this girl,typical self hatred ran deep
Like a kangaroo that hated it's own leap
She was out of pocket with her tongue
Her pain was old but her voice was young
Black bodies collectively lay in their misery alone
Because black blood is bleached with white tears in every time zone
She sliced her arms in hopes that under the layers of negro there might be something pale and more appealing
But as she kept pealing, it became appalling, because it became apparent that black destruction had no ceiling
