She

Location

She

the tears burn as they fall from Her innocent cheek

they cut through Her innocent heart

they run down Her innocent body

She soaks  in a pool of despair

wondering

who  She is

wondering what She has become

Her life is a lie

love is a lie

what She had believed in floats away in the pool of despair

and toward the whirlpool of depression

She is unloved by all

She is invisible to all

She is unknown to the world no matter how loud She screams

She wonders, oh She wonders

if it is right to rip Her soul out

and let the water flood her lungs

If it is right to end it before it becomes worse

She soaks in the pool of despair

memories resurface  the life She was living

She only sees the reflection of hate

but in the distance She hears the chime of happiness that had once flooded Her

She soaks in the pool of despair

She lies there a smile plastered on her face

She smiles as the pain fades away

the tears burn as they fall from Her innocent cheek

they cut through Her innocent heart

they run down Her innocent body

She sees the joyful life that She once lived

She had been blinded by all the pain that she did not see the joy in life

the pain and sorrow that slowly pull Her down to the waters of despair

She wonders as  hope slowly descends from the sky

hope touches the darkened pool of despair

and turns it into a golden pool full of joy

She knows the answer

She sees what life is

what the meaning is

She steps out of the pool of despair

the pool that once held her down

that has now become something hopeful

hope beckons Her to a new life

She wipes off the remaining drops of despair

despair that was once known to Her as the waters of depression

hope gives to Her love

and courage as she walks towards Her new beginning
