In my heart there were feelings

That I never really showed

In my mind there were thoughts

No one would have ever known

In my lungs there was air

That would have never breathed words

In my mouth there was a tongue

That would have never spoken words

In my finger tips alone

There was every dream I ever owned

Dreams I felt for so long

I could feel it in my bones

The very essence of me

Would have been locked inside

This temple I call a body

That holds my heart and mind

I set them free with my poetry

With my lyrics and songs

I set them free with the words

I held all along 

I set them free with my dreams

That I always keep in sight

I set them free with my passion

And that's why I write
