Serendipity
Untouched and pure, your bright serenity
Is beauty, shining rays of special gold.
This light is you, the newborn entity,
A piece of Universe’s light made bold.
But mixing, churning, sticky, blackened Sludge,
Its purpose proudly meant to suffocate,
Presents itself as deadly, twisting Judge,
So set on writhing under drowning weight.
Your light is trapped in something more than tainted,
In something dark, oppressive, slime-formed casque.
The Sludge transforming you, so you are painted
By muddied colors, soon a hardened mask.
The Universe and its gift epiphany
Are your galactic hues. Serendipity.
