sempiternal pain

Location

The day is towards its end
Your hands are wrapped around your head
Why won't the pain just end?
Blame yourself for all that's wrong
The days feel way too long
The nights are far from calm
Thoughts keeping you from a tired yawn
You know why you're not dead
Your life is in your hands
Why won't the pain just end?
Waking up is just a chore
Leaving home is going through prison doors
Your soul is restless
With your eyes red
Why won't the pain just end?
Your life is waiting for a new chapter
You know there's no happy ever after
Every attempt to make life better
Ends in regretful disaster
A smile and laugh is a temporary mask
The happiness will never last
On your deathbed you'll feel you'll say
Why won't the pain just end?
