Secure

I can drown in my own tears

If I contemplate my fears

Terrified of the heartbreak

A never ending ache

Perhaps the concern will stay

Until my heart is at bay

For you have taught me no worry

Hold me when my vision is blurry

Whispering softly in my ear

Wipe away a stray tear

You telling me to relax

So that I may face the facts

Your love will not waver

Your lips portray the flavor

Of safety here in your arms

No longer needing alarms
