Sea Before Me
She whispers her melodies in the early morning,
soft yet bold,
her blue green soul,
hypnotic and chaotic is the sea,
unyielding before me.
She hums her refrain at midday,
proud and fluid,
back and forth,
her blue green soul,
unshackled,
unyielding is the sea before me.
She bellows her chanties into late hours of night,
Rocking back and forth,
untamed even by this white moons might,
hypnotic is that unyielding sea,
untamed,
unrestrained,
sea before me.
