Sea of Insanity

The boy was corrupting her like a leech stuck to her skin

But she didn’t know any better so she stuck by him

She started changing slowly, didn’t even notice

He was breaking her surely, I probably should’ve told her this

But i seemed to have missed it, just like everybody else did

No one noticed how bad he was for her until the day he left her

I didn't even notice until she came to me crying and screaming about how all she wanted was for him to come back and wrap his arms around her

And how all she wanted was for someone to tell her everything is okay, but if i'm being honest nothing was okay

She depended on him so much, she didn't know how to go on with life once he left,

She thought that without him she couldn’t survive

Sadly she was right

He was like an anchor that kept her from drifting into the sea of insanity

But once the anchor was drawn she was free to drift as far as she pleased

She drifted into the depths of the sea and slowly sank into the sea of insanity
