School the preview to what life is like
School once a place to learn
turned into a place for our souls to burn
our teachers are crabby
and the boys are too grabby
you can't walk down the hallway without being judged
and every bathroom has a girl on the floor crying, eyeliner smudged
the books we have to read are thick as a vault door
making the weight on our backs threaten to drag us to the floor
our math problems have words and not a single number
and the numbers on our alarm clocks wake us from our slumber
history is quiet unentertaining
and all those dates we have to remember can be draining
science can be fun with the experiments
but people disregard animals lives during disections with such arrogance
fallowing dress code in the south can be torture
because most days are scorchers
cafeteria food can be disgusting
and for us vegetarians there is nothing
we wake up and dread the day
knowing that home is a whole eight hours away
but home brings little releaf when we are swamped with homework
we know that we will get no sleep until that is done and over
our weekends are filled with school work
not that it is a big deal because all of our fake friends are jerks
so in short high school is not everything we once dreamed
our teachers pile us with work all at once as if it were a scheme
our friends are fake
and the boys make our hearts ache
but that is the fate of man kind
we go to school to expand the mind
then work just to see our money go bye-bye
and then, well, we die.
