Saying I Love You

Location

It may be one of the scariest things to say,

Your heart starts beating and your palms are sweaty,

But you look over and see the most beautiful girl lying next to you,

It is the most unbelievable moment in the world; this pretty, sweet, smart girl is actually into you,

“How could I be the one she chose? Why is she with me”,

Even if it’s the hundredth time lying next to her, this time is different,

You feel something amazing and certain of,

All this time you weren’t sure what it was,

But now, its undeniable,

“You have to say it!”

“You need to tell her!”

That’s the only thing going through your head,

She’s just lying there hugging you,

Your just lying there stroking her hair,

Your heart is pounding harder and harder,

You’re certain of your feelings fore her, but you don’t know how she will react,

“What if she’s creeped out?’

“What if its too soon?”

A waterfall of memories of both you fall into your head,

One of the most nerve wrecking moments that could happen to any one, and it happened to me,

I Knew I had to tell her, she needed to know how I felt,

I glanced over at her one more time and all the fear of rejection went away,

My mouth denied any more fear that my mind was torturing me with and started moving,

I must have said it,

It was quiet again,

Then a beautiful arrangement of sounds started,

The sound gave me the most indescribable feeling on earth,

The sound sounded like “I love you too”.
