To say I need a person 

is something I do not like to do.

To say I need anything

is hard for me to do.

People come and go

more times than I can count.

Despite pushing you away,

you have stuck around.

I see people waiting and waiting

to say "through the good or the bad".

I see myself and think that

those are the times we've had.

Despite the things I've done or what you've sad

we've pushed through.

After all of that I only know one thing:

I need you.

To say I need you is more than a phrase,

but a testament to who we are.

We grow together everyday,

and together we will go so far.
