Road Signs

Thu, 05/09/2013 - 17:12 -- jrcook

Teddy bear’s choked with duct tape remind us to
“Please drive safely”
Smoky with his grave-digging shovel tells us:
“Today’s Fire Danger is HIGH”
We wind through canyons with dusty, sage-filled air.
“Watch for Falling Rocks”
Surrounded by an eminent disaster and the cloying musky atmosphere.
“Deer Crossing”
“Bridge May Be Wet”
“Caution: Avalanches”
“Ice on Road”
These are not the sign I’m looking for.
The future is far too near.
