The Road to Hell

THE ROAD TO HELL

Where is the road to Hell?
Painted in neon colors
right before our
blinded eyes.
On this treacherous trail
Ignorance leads the way,
Volatile is it's instructor,
unwanted souls
sit as passengers.

Where is the road to Hell?
Where the gold gates are spotted
shining atop a hill,
damned bodies stand
shaking, scared. It's
where the winds don't blow
and the sun denies its
light.

Where is the road to Hell?
Beneath our stumbling
feet,
where the fire licks our
unholy toes knowing our horrid fate. It's
deep in the pit, where all who are holy look
down on us,
and where the unknowing person asks,
"Where is the road to Hell?"
