Revelation, Resolution

You.

You're the one who cut this, this hole in my head,

To which, created a space in our- my- bed.

You.

You were the night time fears, and once morning came

It became clear;

You are my head,

You are my heart.

Looking back, I remember never seeing that light- that 'sparkle'- in your

Blue, blue eyes.

You.

You wanted it to end. To make a resolution, but at the time,

It wasn't a conversation I could have that night.

Blinded by daylight, I couldn't see our kingdom come falling from it's foundations, but I knew-

Believe me, I knew- about the revlation in the light of day.

Until night crept up it's way

to your heart and mine.

You are a fantastic writer. The way you showed how you came to realization in such a small amount of words is so powerful. This is a wonderful poem, and one that I am sure I will rememeber.
