The image that stays with me comes from the story 

of a black boy playing wide-eyed with his toy dinosaurs. 

And maybe this is the picture that stays with everybody,

The innocent picture that is not yet yours.

Where color does not determine theme, plot, or ending of movie

Because the dinosaurs hold all the beauty.

And in this dream…

The black boy won’t drop dead. The most important part of the movie.

I will never forget that innocent image.

I want to paint it, draw it, see it! World, let me see it!

Let there be an everlasting afterimage

So that the world can, too, commit

To the dream where the black boy won’t drop dead.

He will play with his dinosaurs instead.
