Remind Me Who I Am

When my shoulders sag from the weights of the world,

Remind me who I am.

When the darkness hides Your lovely face,

Remind me who I am.

When my troubles overwhelm me,

Remind me who I am.

When my head spins from all these expectations,

Remind me who I am.

When the pain and hurt takes a grip on my life,

Remind me who I am.

When the prettiest day can’t bring a smile to my face,

Remind me who I am.

When I ignore your still, quiet voice,

Remind me who I am.

When I believe Satan’s lies,

Remind me who I am.

When I’m drop dead tired and can’t find anything good,

Remind me who I am.

I am Yours and Yours alone; bought by the precious Blood of Your Son.

I am Your chosen, Your child, Your daughter.

Remind me who I am.
