Rejuvenate
My feet sink into the earth,
Like an old man in his favorite chair.
Microscopic life tickles between my toes
Leaving a sense of clarity and peace.
The air tousles and textures my hair,
It rejuvenates my soul and my smile.
Life lives all around me:
Feathered Life, suited Life, care-free Life.
The salty water of the East Coast nurtures
My skin, my mind, my existence.
I long for the warm summer days basking in the Sun
At the Shore.
