Reflection on Love

Petruchio and Kate, equals in wit;

Darcy and Miss Bennet, with surety;

Gilbert and Anne, sharing kindred spirits;

Marius and Cosette, in purity;

Aragorn and Arwin, providing strength;

Bane and Margaret, steadfast and brazen;

Bear and Blanche, gentle souls who go great lengths.

All illustrate love, sure to emblazon.

But try as some might, some lose what will last,

what will make us experience a love.

Love isn't merely a passion that is crass:

attraction, touch, cannot make it evolve.

It is not something to be seen as fraud.

Love is sacrifice; two souls under God.

Our world
