The Reflection

Not a lot of thought goes into staring into a mirror

That is until that which once appeared to only stare back

begins to glare into your own abyss.

To stare too long is to expose yourself to yourself

Unearthing the scars and sacred treasures that help to mold you

into that which you are still becoming

Each experience is a memory stored

Each transition, a new beginning

As you discover yourself you delve deeper into yourself

until at last you stand in awe of your own greatness.
