Red, White, and You
Color encompassing unfamiliar faces
All united under one familiar flag soaring high
Unknown are the backgrounds, but defined are the races
Gathering and discussing under one sky
Imagine beauty and gratitude found in every color
Souls instead of skin tones defining our worth
Enough love and hope within a single room to make one shudder
Forgone the hostility, prejudice, and dearth
Embracing the warmth from hand clasping hand
Standing alongside our companions once thought our enemies
Proudly together we stand
O'er Land and Seas
