A Recall of Memory

Location

Using the fragments

of decomposing cameras

we

laughed at the pictures

from years gone away and faded

they painted nice images

to dance for us like

street performers

clouded in a fog of moments

They pass and fall away like

pebbles

They fall to voids

black holes

and we plaster salami smiles onto blank pages of our memory

We

pinch until we fit

but

I burned myself at age 3

and I can't recall my blue eyes

(they fell away)
