Realization by: Michaela Fletcher

Dreams of wonder, riches, and happiness

To becoming the Ultimate Queen of my own fairyland

Or even the favorite of a girl rock band

I only wanted to have greatness

Imagining that, besides the stars and the sun, I was full of brightness

Life being a game, she thought she would understand

Having a list of the life she planned

There was never a day I showed unhappiness

However, as time goes by, the rumors about her get to her soul

Her heart, livelihood, and personality became muted, but her mind was unbroken

Speaking positive affirmations began to take its effect

All women are not whole

All women are not broken

I was taught that all women are perfectly imperfect

This poem is about:
Me
