Rain

Drops of crystals slide down my window,

I watch it closely from my pillow.

The billowing wind sends creaks through the house,

I could hear the panicked squeaking of a mouse.

A calm fell over me,

It was like the sky had become the sea.

Every tiny patter on the roof lulled me further,

My brain is now a retired worker.

My eyes eventually saw nothing,

My mind and dreams brushing.

The rain finally gave me sleep,

I can’t understand why people think it’s so bleak.
