I fell in love when I least expected it

No, I thought I’d be alone

I was finally enjoying the solitude

It gave me solace knowing I could bask in the silence

That’s when I tumbled head first into a different realm

The days seemed brighter

The colours seemed more vivid than before

When I looked above

I saw a world that was bland

Colourless

That’s when I realized

You had stolen my heart and I was yours forever

The boy was my forever

Something I wanted to hold onto my entire life

I had fallen in love
