A Prodigy Child

The chips weren't in his favor,

Few thought he'd succeed.

A society that sweeps people like him under the mat.

He may not know exactly why,

He just knows he has to work harder.

He loves the way he is,

and know he is loved.

He started so far behind,

yet so far he's come.

And as he walks across the stage,

his class cheering him on,

I can't help my tears of joy

at this wonderous little boy.
