The price for fame
Materialstic things portray valuables and possessions
I went from rags to riches
And learned life's lessons
Get rich or die trying, some said
But that's not factual to me
Got money but want to be dead
Go to sleep and never wake up
That would be a success for me
Honestly, I just want to give up
Throw in the towel and surrender
Money can't equal the amount of pain
My smile to me was more valuable
My family was my dear possession
I was way happier the times I was broke
Now I got money and I'm broken
I chose fame before family
I chose money over friends
Life's lessons taught me the hard way
I realize that now, be thankful for what you got
You can't put a price tag on your heart
