I close my eyes

as I pray and pray.

Pray for another day,

To see my family and everyone 

filled with joy.

Or maybe even

have the courage

to talk to that boy.

I pray for unity

throughout the world

even peace with the meanest girls.

When it comes to an end 

I can finally say

I have made amends.

That is why I pray.
