Music plays in the background
Familiar faces gathered around
The smack of the cue ball
Echoes through the halls
Smiles and laughter with bad jokes
Someone spews their drink and almost chokes
Gossip flies on whispered wings
Small stuff and stupid things
Love disguised with insults
Make my eyes do somersaults
But we just laugh and cheer
Cause we're having fun in here
We won't admitt that we all care
But it's a knowledge we all share
So here we are, shooting another game
Not even calling each other by name.
