Poltergeist

Location

A picture of a broken memory

It's just the spirit of a faded cause

A broken promise - there I'd always be

It will leave when I take the time to pause

I know that it is only a mirage

But I still see it staring back at me

It gazes toxic rays I cannot dodge

I've now become unlocked - it weilds the key

I  cannot tell the color of its eyes

One appears pitch black, the other blood red

The beast that has the power to paralyze

Has me surprised that I am not yet dead

The more that I have wished that it would go

The angrier that it has seemed to grow
