Polaris...so very far away
I see your powerful glimmering greatness shining from the celestial sky.
I long to reach and touch the spherical fire burning inside.

With quivering beats I stretch ever high,
Past Cetus
Through Taurus
Past Virgo
and Cygnus

Wishing and reaching, desperate for the slightest brush.

I close my grasp and hold so hard
Yet gone...like a shooting star

Polaris...why do you tease me so much?
All I want is a moments touch.
