Plaza in the Moonlight

Thu, 06/12/2014 - 12:04 -- ryannk

Your words flow sweetly

Drip like honey

From your half-closed lips

A smile lures me in

Your hand outstretched

A twist, a turn, a spin

Encircled by your arms

I lose myself in the music

And the plaza transforms,

A stage under the lamplight

Awash with the glow

Of the moon and stars

Those faraway souls

That can only watch as ours

Tenderly brush and spring back

Engaged in joyful dance.
