Phantom World

I wake up to the warm morning sun.

Already has this terrible moment begun?

Outside the window I see many individuals pass,

And out on the pavements that’s where they express their wraths.

As I gaze outside there is so much I would like to say,

But inside my mind is where those words stay.

Even with those who I’m able share my thoughts;

They truly don’t know what makes me distraught.

Neglection and miscommunications they would not understand

In this Phantom World, I wish to make my stand.

Journal logs and diary entries; I just hope they would be found like message bottles in the sand.

Under the bright rays looking up at the sun,

I realize in this Phantom World, I could be the only one.
