A Paradoxical Mind
So I, like so many others, have been asked to spew forth the thoughts and workings of our brains,
to pick apart how we tick, how we function, how we create, and explain:
Why we think
What we think
And how we think
But I would be lying if I told you that I knew the answer.
That is one of the beauties of being human:
Not knowing, but simply being
Being spontaneous, and complex, and mysterious, and confused...
Being a Paradox
That is why we shine so bright
That is why we are beautiful and inspired
And why we actually have a reason to think in the first place.
Am I confusing you?
Then that means that I am thinking, and that means that so are you
We are deeper than the ocean, and broader than the expanses of space
We are as steady as the turtle, as quick as the hare
We are all the same and we are all different
We are all capable
We are all inspired
We are a paradox
So if you truely wanted to know just how I think and work, I'm sorry, I can't help you
But I hope this little poem has given you an idea
Besides if I told you everything we'd be here all day and then some,
And where would be the fun in that?
