Opaque Ghost
You spend your whole life somewhere
Only to leave, and to come back
And to find that nobody remembers you.
You’re an opaque ghost filled with nothing but vague memories.
Roaming streets that now haunt you,
Echoing words from forgotten pasts.
Whispering televised histories,
Erasing you from all of them.
You don’t exist,
You don’t belong here,
You never did.
