A constricted heart,

A lonely cry,

The broken parts,

All want to die.

A lone tear,

Falls down my cheek,

Overwhelming fear,

Makes me weak.

I shake against my binds,

Only tears are free,

If only I could find,

A better way to be.

But just for today,

I will let myself fall,

It's a tiring day,

Pretending to have it all.
