Only Elephants and Donkeys

Location

I don't understand Why we live in a world of extremes.

Finally eighteen And forced to choose between

Two groups whom I don't agree with

But do at the same time.

I am a unique person

Not defined by “conservative” or “liberal.”

So where do my scattered beliefs fit in?

Donkeys and elephants have more in common than they think:

They're both mammals that live on land,

They both share this wonderful planet we call home,

But above all they are both stubborn animals.

I want choice, compromise, productivity.

That is why I wish there were more than only elephants and donkeys

To run an entire country.
