One Way or The Other

Alone in my room
I think about what happened today
With my relationship and school
I just do not know what to say.

About my relationship
It has been quite a ride
Until today when the ride stopped
He told me his rules that I had to abide.

With all the stresses of high school
I did not know what to do
My grades were not what I wanted them to be
It just made me look like a fool.

Now that I am here in my room
What can I look forward to since life is a ride
My school and relationship haven't worked out
Should I even consider suicide?

It will help me to forget everything else
In times where it seems the whole world is against me
No more worries, no more stress.
I can finally be free.

But no, no I shouldn't
Who is going to miss me
My mom, dad, siblings, and friends
I guess they can help and see.

What about my future?
I know I can do better and be happy about it
In both my school and future relationships
It is just one of those things that I have to put up with.

I realize that I am not the only one
This is just the first step.
By expressing all my troubles out
It just helps.

I know somebody cares.
He/She will not bother
He/She should be willing to listen or...
It could happen one way or the other.

Amazing poem. I am so glad that you pushed the option of suicide out of your mind, which takes a strong willed person with a huge heart. I'm sure so many people would have missed you if you had taken the alternate route. Please read my poems and tell me what you think.
