One Day
One day the sun threw beams on my face,
Power ran through me-Body and Soul were one,
My breath at a race with the shore I saw in front of me,
Beach sand beneath my feet,
I forgot about everything except how to run.
Run freely and catch her glimpse in the sky,
It used to hurt and make me cry,
But now when I see the sun throwing beams at me,
I figure myself lucky to be able to breathe.
The world took away a woman who benefitted it the most,
One day we will meet again when the world and
I make a toast.
