OH-OH-OH Sweet Music

Mon, 02/15/2016 - 16:20 -- Lpetty

If I were stranded on a deserted island I would panick

I would at least hope that on that island was a banana hammock.

One thing I could not live without on this island is music.

All genres of music from pop to rap to hip hop,

Music to me is more priceless than a buick,

But who needs a car when your love for music don't stop.

The lyrics in the music speak what I feel,

I have a huge appetite and each word is a new dish to my meal.

I would sing to my music all day without a soul to hear,

I was never really good at singing anway so I guess I'll save some ears,

or the tears I see with the fear of me opening my mouth.

I thought I hit that note, but things oddly seemed to go south.

Nevertheless, I will continue to sing because it's what I love to do,

I will continue to listen to music because when I listen there's always something new.

Honestly though, something I would want if I was on a desert island alone,

Is a big yellow boat, so I could take myself home.

Don't get me wrong, a desert island would be an adventure,

Staying up late just watching the stars and the moon,

But the longer I stayed, the more I would get tenser,

and I would eventually need to return home to get new music on iTunes.
