(poems go here) Some people call them problems
I do what I can to solve them
The words don’t fall upon my lips
I have to think and catch my grip
Because my words require thought
Some may ponder it a lot
But you won’t know everything
Until you’ve known of my every sting

It may come out for a moment
If you’re lucky you’ll hear it too
I’m not clever with my rhyme scheme
I don’t need a ribbon blue
I have an underlying theme
And I write it out to keep me sane
I just hope you catch my words
I will try to keep it plain.

Some say I’m gullable and I usually reply
There’s nothing wrong with having faith in truth instead of lies
I can be random if you couldn’t tell
And nothing ‘bout it’s sly
I just speak of how I feel
Whether it’s a problem or a guy
I don’t want to complain
I just wanted to try
Writing how I feel
It’s like a plane tryin’ to fly

It’s a process but it’s natural
Just need a push and a shove
Got some friends that push my buttons
But give me something to love
I want to say I’m optimistic
But at times the glass seems to be empty
I fear God sees my actions
And the sins, yes, I have plenty
Gonna rise up with the moon
Because the Son isn’t quite ready

I may have lost you with my words
And if the moral isn’t clear
I’m working on my issues
And I’ve got an eager ear
To take advise, try anew
Like rehabilitation ‘til I’m through
I’ve got a page to turn
To be myself, to be true
Build that spine upon my back
That I lost so deep in my past
Reverse the time so I can track
The time when I was close to Him,
When I wanted that to last

I’m here and I should be greatful
Got a lot to do, a plate full
But in my cleanse I hope to win
And at a loss be my sin-full.
