The Sun beams down

Through the mess of white clouds.

And the water crashes on the sand.

 

It's been so long since I've been here,

This sounds tells me I'm not alone.

 

Rolling waves caress my feet

As I walk along.

No one by my side,

But I feel alright.

The ocean's in my soul.

 

I close my eyes

And the crashing waves

Whisper in my ear.

 

The wind is strong,

I feel almost like I'm home,

Laying here in the sand.

 

My peaceful sleep

Will only bring dreams of this beautiful place,

Once I have gone.

 

Hearts in the sand,

Shells in my hand,

I love coming back here.

 

Still all alone

Just me and the water.

But thats how I like it right now,

No distractions from the peace.

 

My mind is at ease,

The crashing of the waves is so profound.
