In the heat of the day
Toxic waste in the air
No children out to play
No civilization anywhere

Glowing nights and scorching days
No voices ever spoken or heard
Pollution filling in the bays
History became the ultimate word.

Hundreds of years go by
No man seen in all that time
No life, not the smallest fly
Waste of money, nickel and dime.
